Frankenburg, a defence tech company founded in Estonia last year, has established a firm in Lithuania with Karolis Žemaitis, a former deputy economy and innovation minister, as the managing director, according to the Lithuanian Centre of Registers.
The Estonian company announced the news on Monday, posting on Linkedin that it intended to expand the development and production of missiles in Lithuania.
Previously, Žemaitis told BNS that the company aimed to produce missiles in Lithuania, as well as to carry out research. The company plans to announce more details in about a month, Žemaiis aid.
Founded in 2024, Frankenburg develops mass-production missiles and is already operating in Estonia, Latvia, and Ukraine. In addition to Lithuania, the company plans to expand to the United Kingdom.
