“Flights to Berlin have high potential in both business and leisure tourism areas. Berlin is famous for its international business exhibitions and cultural events, that Lithuanians frequently attend,” said the commercial director of Air Lituanica, Simonas Bartkus.

Berlin routes are going to be serviced by ‘Embraer 170’ aircraft on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The plans are set to leave Vilnius Airport at 13:55 (1:55 pm) and depart Tegel Airport at 15:10 (3:10 pm) local time. The duration of the flight is estimated at 1 hour 35 minutes.

Air Lituanica has already started flying to Brussels and Amsterdam. At the moment the company’s average seat occupancy rate is 65 per cent.

In autumn, Air Lituanica plans to launch flights to Munich and Prague
