A new group of 12 Lithuanian military instructors left for the United Kingdom on Saturday to join Operation Interflex for training Ukrainian military personnel.
This is the second of the eight rotations of Lithuanian military instructors planned to be deployed to the training mission this year, the Lithuanian Armed Forces said on Saturday.
Lithuania has been contributing to Interflex since last autumn. The training is conducted in UK infrastructure.
In Lithuania, Ukrainian troops are currently taking part in an explosive ordnance disposal training course co-organised with the Nordic countries and in a squad commander course run by the Lithuanian Armed Forces School.
