Prices in Lithuania are 18.4-percent higher in January 2023 compared to January 2022, according to estimates by the State Data Agency released on Friday.
Monthly inflation – price rises in January compared to December – is estimated at 0.6 percent.
The annual inflation rate was mainly driven by the increase in the prices of foodstuffs and non-alcoholic beverages, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel goods and services, transportation.
The advance estimate of annual average inflation in January is 19.3 percent.
