On Tuesday, Lithuania registered 902 new cases of Covid-19 and another 27 deaths linked to the coronavirus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 161,348 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania. Some 62,451 people are still ill with the virus and 95,627 have recovered, including 2,937 over the past 24 hours.
The coronavirus-related death toll now stands at 2,272, including 13 earlier fatalities added to the tally on Tuesday.
So far, 24,995 people in Lithuania have received their first coronavirus vaccine shots.
A total of 1,751,038 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in the country, including 7,601 over the past 24 hours.
