Despite the recent rise in coronavirus cases, Lithuania’s government decided on Wednesday to continue lifting restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
From August 16, up to 600 people will be allowed to attend indoor events, and from September 1, restrictions on the number of attendees will be lifted completely.
From September 1, foreign students will be allowed to enter the country. The travel bans will no longer apply to sports medics, as well as to investors.
Foreigners who have entered into a registered partnership with a Lithuanian citizenship or resident will also be allowed entry.
Meanwhile, border checks have been extended until September 14.
