The Latvian airline AirBaltic is launching regular flights from Vilnius to Krakow and from Palanga to Amsterdam from May next year.

The Vilnius–Krakow flights will start on May 3 and the Palanga–Amsterdam route will open on May 29. Both will operate twice a week, AirBaltic said.

“We are delighted to expand our offer to Lithuanian passengers by adding two new direct routes and increasing the frequency of flights on the most in-demand routes from Vilnius,” said Martin Gauss, President and CEO of AirBaltic.

Moreover, the airline plans to increase frequencies on popular routes from Vilnius, including to Paris, Munich, and Tallinn.

The company plans to open a total of 11 new routes during the summer season next year: seven from Latvia, two from Lithuania and two from Estonia. From Riga, the airline will launch scheduled flights to Alicante (Spain), Chisinau (Moldova), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Pristina (Kosovo), Skopje (Northern Macedonia), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Tirana (Albania).
