Vilnius invites the city residents and visitors to welcome the New Year at the central Cathedral Square, which will feature the laser and music show.
To allow more convenient access to the city centre, public transport in Vilnius will be free from 20:00 on December 31 until 04:00 on January 1, according to the Vilnius transport administrator JUDU.
Night buses on routes 102N, 103N, 3G and 6G, as well as night trolleybuses on routes 2, 7, 16, and 17, will run on New Year’s Eve.
Night public transport will start running from 23:00 on December 31, every 30-35 minutes. Night buses will stop at the public transport stops in the central part of the city.
