LRT RADIO presents a new digital audio platform – LRT Audioteka. The new platform contains all radio shows and podcasts produced by LRT RADIJAS, LRT KLASIKA and LRT OPUS.
Until now, listeners could find their favourite shows and episodes at LRT Mediateka. According to Giedrius Masalkis, head of the LRT Radio programme department the listeners will now be able to find their favourite radio shows much easier.
“We notice that radio listening habits are changing – users increasingly choose to listen to their favourite radio shows when they have time. For improving the listening experience, we have created a convenient and easy-to-use digital audio content archiving platform – LRT audioteka,” said Masalkis.
“We also offer the listeners to discover interesting topics, the recommendations of the latest and most popular radio shows and all information about radio shows and their particular episodes,” he added.
According to Masalkis, LRT is planning to “introduce additional features on this digital platform that will allow personalising the content even more”,
The LRT Audioteka can be found on the LRT.lt website, the mobile app, or at www.lrt.lt/audioteka.
The platform was created in cooperation with the Embassy of Germany in Vilnius. This project aims to increase the availability of quality radio content and attract a younger audience.
