The Tochka-U missile in Kramatorsk was launched by the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the senior official of the US Department of Defense at the Pentagon at a closed briefing for journalists. He said the Russians first claimed a successful strike and then denied guilt when reports of the bombing came. A rocket attack on Kramatorsk station on April 8 killed at least 52 people, including five children. More than a hundred people have been seriously injured. Some of them had to be transported for operations to medical institutions in other regions, as Kramatorsk hospitals could not cope with such a large number of seriously injured.
Currently, 71 people, including 15 children, are in medical institutions in Dnipropetrovsk region after the shelling. According to the doctor of one of the medical institutions, most of them are people with mine blast and craniocerebral injuries, traumas to legs, chest and head. Rescuers and pyrotechnicians are clearing the area in the villages of Yahidne and Lukashivka in Chernihiv region. Russian troops stayed there for almost a month. Almost 10,000 explosive devices have been neutralized in Kyiv region since the beginning of sapper works. Demining of the territories liberated from Russian occupation continues. There are 17 pyrotechnic groups in the region. As of April 8, they had cleared 127 hectares of territory, 292 facilities and 70 kilometers of roads. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskiy said that rescuers find more than 4,000 explosive devices every day.
