Nobel Prize winner Alexievich to attend Vilnius Book Fair

Belarusian writer, political activist, and Nobel Prize winner Svetlana Alexievich will attend this year’s Vilnius Book Fair.

“We are eager to share the happy news: Nobel Prize winner Svetlana Alexievich is coming to this year’s Vilnius Book Fair,” the fair’s organisers posted on Facebook on Tuesday.

Alexievich is a Belarusian writer, journalist, and screenwriter. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2015.

The Vilnius Book Fair is the biggest book fair in the Baltic states. The 25th book fair will take place this year from February 27 to March 2.
