Lithuania's Spartan military transport aircraft is set to make its third flight to Israel on Friday to evacuate at least 35 people to Turkey, the National Crisis Management Center (NVSC) said.
"The flight is tentatively scheduled to depart from Tel Aviv at 20:00," Darius Buta, chief advisor at the NVSC, told BNS on Friday. "At the moment, we have 35 people and five cats registered for the flight from Tel Aviv to Turkey."
"We ask everyone to register for this flight as soon possible so that the plane can be filled and most importantly, people can depart to a safe country," he added.
Lithuania dispatched the Spartan to the region after Hamas' surprise attack on Israel last weekend.
The military plane transported 29 passengers from Tel Aviv to Antalya in its first evacuation flight on Wednesday and flew another 42 people, mostly Lithuanian citizens, from Israel to Turkey last night.
The aircraft will be on standby in Turkey until October 15.
