Lithuania has recently published its vaccination plan. How do foreign citizens living in the country fit in?

According to the Lithuanian Health Ministry, foreign nationals that are eligible to receive the vaccine include:
– all permanent residents (nuolatiniai gyventojai) in Lithuania, including foreign nationals and stateless people
– people who are covered with the mandatory health insurance (privalomasis sveikatos draudimas, PSD)
– EU citizens who have declared their residency in Lithuania and have registered at their local health institution using the S1 Form (Dokumentas S1).
– As of May 18, foreign nationals residing in Lithuania are also eligible, including Lithuanian citizens who live abroad, but spend at least 183 days in the country. Citizens of EU member states need to spend at least three out of six months in Lithuania to be eligible.

You can register for a vaccination appointment by calling the coronavirus hotline 1808, or by going online. You can find more information by visitng the government's dedicated coronavirus website.
