Heavy snowfall is set to make a comeback on Tuesday, with as much as 30 centimetres of snow expected in parts of Lithuania later this week.
Southeastern Lithuania will be hit by a snowstorm, which is set to last until Tuesday evening, according to Lithuania’s Hydrometeorological Service.
The biggest snowfall is expected on Wednesday.
“Snow cover of 30 centimetres or more is likely to form in the eastern parts of the country,” according to the service.
People have been urged to avoid car journeys, as well as parking vehicles underneath trees, as branches are likely to break due to the heavy snowfall.
