Snow and cold is set to grip Lithuania for longer, as some 20 centimetres of snow and temperatures of up to -22C are expected in parts of the country at the end of the week.
Most of the snowfall is expected in western Lithuania, according to the country’s Hydrometeorological service. Meanwhile, Vilnius and eastern regions should see some 20 centimetres of snow.
The temperatures will remain steady for the next several days, before plunging to -19C on Friday night and -22C on Saturday night in parts of Lithuania.
