Consumer confidence rises further in November

Lithuanian consumers are starting to feel more upbeat about their country’s financial situation. Consumer confidence has risen for a second straight month, according to Statistics Lithuania. The consumer confidence index improved by 4 points from October to November.

In comparing it to last year, the index shows remarkable improvement as well. The figures released yesterday suggest that the November readings are the most optimistic measures since June of this year. Families are expressing ease in how their financial situation continue to improve and how their ability to save money continues improving as well.

A large number of households expects unemployment to decrease over the next year.
