On Sunday, Lithuania finally chose the song that will be performed at the Eurovision song contest in Copenhagen in May this year, writes www.delfi.lt.

 On Sunday, Lithuania finally chose the song that will be performed at the Eurovision song contest in Copenhagen in May this year, writes www.delfi.lt.

The song, written by Vilija Matačiūnaitė, is called ‘Attention’. It will be performed by one of the finalists of the ongoing competition: i.e. either the singer V. Pilibaitytė-Mia, or the song’s author V. Matačiūnaitė or the singer Vaidotas Baumila.

The performer, who will represent Lithuania in Eurovision in Denmark in May, will become known on 1 March this week.

After the Sunday’s voting, the majority of spectators’ and the panel’s votes were given to the song ‘Attention’, the second place went to the song titled ‘Take a Look at Me Now’ and the third was given to the song ‘It’s All About A Boy’.
