The Lithuanian Embassy in the UK has informed that the opening of the Lithuanian Presidency over the European Council is going to be commemorated with a special cultural programme in London.

Among many festive activities, the Embassy, first of all, invites everyone to a concert of Martynas Levickis, who became a household name in Lithuania when he won the “Lithuania’s Got Talent” TV show in 2010.

The free-of-charge concert is going to take place on 1 July, 2013, at 7:30 pm St John’s Smith Square, London SW1P 3HA.

Martynas Levickis also won the Coupe Mondiale in 2010. Since then he has been studying at the Royal Academy of Music, and now considers London to be his second home for he has already played on many of its prestigious scenes.

Martynas is a multifarious musician and he plays anything from Beethoven to Lady Gaga.

“If you love him as much as we do – and we promise you will – you’ll be happy to know that his new album is also out in July,” the Lithuanian Embassy’s team told The Lithuania Tribune.

The Lithuanian Embassy in the UK has cordially asked everyone wishing to attend the concert to RSVP via amb.uk@urm.lt  or call 020 7592 2841.
