German troops arrive to Lithuania for exercise

More than 200 German troops with their equipment and machinery arrived on Tuesday to Lithuania for joint exercises and training in the Baltics.

More than 200 German troops with their equipment and machinery arrived on Tuesday to Lithuania for joint exercises and training in the Baltics.

German troops brought more than 80 units of various kinds of military equipment, including multirole armoured fighting vehicles Boxer and Fuchs cars. The equipment is expected to be brought to Rukla on 24 April.

The troops will be taking part in training in Lithuania until July. Another group of German troops will come to Lithuania in autumn.
