LINAS LINKEVICIUS, Lithuanian Foreign Minister:

We will stand for enlargement of targeted measures even right now, without waiting for an end of the month, if we will be able to agree. Enlargement would be aimed at persons who participate in taking these decisions. This is a priority. It is also obvious that time has come to declare things like guns embargo. Formally, these things are not fixed.

Reporter asks if guns embargo means that France would not be able to sell Mistral ships to Russia.

LINAS LINKEVICIUS, Lithuanian Foreign Minister:

We cannot go into details now as such deals are worth billions. This is very complicated, because issues like economy or jobs emerge. So it is understandable, everything is interlaced, but the moment of truth arrives, and you have to decide. We think that, truly, it is a weak logic, if we declare, and it is a universal consensus; we all agree that this is an aggression. If this is an aggression, it is then illogical to trade guns to the aggressor.

LINAS LINKEVICIUS, Lithuanian Foreign Minister:

As we speak now, undeclared war is going on between Russia and Ukraine. Let us make a clear breast of it. These are not some kind of insurgents, these are terrorist groups supported by Russia, provided with guns and practically without any camouflage. It’s an invasion of the other state. But the war is undeclared, contrary; Russia insistently denies its military involvment.
