On Friday, Lithuania handed over a new aid package to Ukraine, comprising ammunition for Carl-Gustaf grenade launchers and RISE-1 remote detonation systems.
“We have been actively and consistently supporting Ukraine because our support to Ukraine is an investment in our own security,” Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas said in a press release.
“Much of our latest aid is directed toward the Lithuanian-led coalition for demining Ukraine,” he added.
Lithuania has approved a Ukrainian military aid package worth 200 million euros in total for 2024-2026.
