Lithuania’s real gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in purchasing power parity reached 89 percent of the European Union average in 2022.
In Latvia, GDP per capita was 73 percent of the EU average, in Poland 79 percent and in Estonia 85 percent, according to preliminary Eurostat data, said Statistics Lithuania.
Bulgaria had the lowest real GDP per capita last year, at 62 percent of the EU average, while Luxembourg had the highest, at 256 percent.
Real actual individual consumption expenditure in Lithuania was 94 percent of the EU average, with 10 EU countries above the EU average and 17 below it.
The price level index in Lithuania was 75.2 percent of the EU average. In Poland, Latvia and Estonia, it was 61.5, 80.1 and 89.7 percent of the EU average, respectively. Romania had the lowest index at 55.9 percent of the EU average and Denmark the highest at 133.3 percent.
