Lithuania's military intelligence has carried out successful operations and the public is expected to be informed about them later this year, Defence Minister Arvydas Anusauskas says.
"This primarily has to do with external threats. and we have had some very successful operations and we will hear about them this year. Because the fight against the influence and actions of foreign intelligence services never ends, it's always ongoing," Anušauskas told the Žinių Radijas radio on Thursday.
The minister said he could not provide more details right now because of the ongoing "legal process".
"Of course, the public will be informed about it when all of it is over," he added.
