The scandalous trip of the Minister of Economy Birtutė Vėsaitė to Kazakhstan last week, that allegedly entailed the conflict of public-private interests, will be discussed in the Seimas and in the President’s office, writes www.delfi.lt with reference to the news agency BNS.

First, the minister’s fate will be discussed by the President Dalia Grybauskaitė and the Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.

“Such a practice is definitely non-tolerable. It’s a direct link with the business and that definitely casts a big shadow on the whole government,” said the President last week, when commenting on Vėsaitė’s flight to a business forum in Kazakhstan on a charter eight-seat business-class airplane booked by Arvi company.

On Monday, this question will also be discussed by the board of the ruling political parties in the Seimas.
