Ukraine has recently come under a growing number of cyber-attacks targeting government websites.
Moreover, on Monday night, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognising the two self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk and ordering Russian troops into the separatist-held regions.
Led by Lithuania, the EU Cyber Rapid Response Team was established in 2019.
