Lithuania has confirmed 1,643 new coronavirus infections and 17 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Thursday morning.
Fifteen of the fatalities were either not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated.
A total of 18,537 people have been vaccinated over the past 24 hours, including 1,956 with their first shot.
There are currently 1,271 Covid-19 patients in Lithuania's hospitals, including 125 ICU cases.
Over 15,500 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 3,800 antigen tests have been performed over the past 24 hours.
The 14-day infection rate has edged down to 846.4 per 100,000 people, and the seven-day percentage of positive tests is 12.2 percent.
A total of 486,000 people in Lithuania have tested positive for Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic. The death toll has reached 6,900.
