Lithuania has confirmed 1,837 new coronavirus infections and 14 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
Ten of the fatalities were either not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated.
A total of 15,530 people have been vaccinated over the past 24 hours, including 2,285 with their first shot. Overall, 67.3 percent of the country's population have been vaccinated at least once.
There are currently 1,321 Covid-19 patients in Lithuania's hospitals, including 128 ICU cases.
Over 11,800 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 5,900 antigen tests have been performed over the past 24 hours.
The 14-day infection rate has edged up to 858.8 per 100,000 people, and the seven-day percentage of positive tests has inched up to 11.9 percent.
A total of 482,000 people in Lithuania have tested positive for Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic. The death toll has reached almost 6,900.
