Lithuania has registered 584 new coronavirus infections and 23 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Monday morning.
Sixteen of the fatalities were either not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated.
A total of 2,034 people have been vaccinated over the past 24 hours, including 286 with their first shot. So far, 66.7 percent of the population have been vaccinated at least once.
The total number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals has inched up slightly in the last 24 hours to 1,385, including 121 ICU cases.
Some 3,400 molecular (PCR) tests for Covid-19 and 3,900 antigen tests have been performed over the past 24 hours.
The 14-day infection rate has fallen to 869 per 100,000 people, continuing its downward trend for a fourth consecutive week, and the seven-day percentage of positive tests stands at 10 percent.
Around 468,000 people in Lithuania have had Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic and 6,700 people have died.
