Runner (Bėgikė), a love drama directed by the Lithuanian filmmaker Andrius Blaževičius, was on Saturday named the best Baltic film at the 25th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (POFF).
A total of 13 films competed in the Baltic category, including six Lithuanian films, according to a press release from the producers.
Earlier this year, Runner won the main prize at the Riga International Film Festival.
A thriller- drama, Runner tells the story of Maria (played by Žygimantė Elena Jakštaitė) who is looking for her missing lover (Marius Repšys).
