Lithuania has registered 2,736 new coronavirus infections and 15 deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Friday morning.
Nine of the latest fatalities were either not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated. The youngest person was aged 20–29 and was not vaccinated.
A total of 5,376 people have died of Covid-19 in Lithuania so far.
The total number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals has increased by 60 over the past 24 hours to 1,571, including 159 ICU cases.
Some 17,100 molecular (PCR) tests for COVID-19 and 9,400 antigen tests have been performed over the past 24 hours.
The 14-day infection rate has risen to 1068.9 per 100,000 people, and the seven-day percentage of positive tests has gone up to 11.7 percent.
A total of 7,070 people have been vaccinated over the past 24 hours, including 2,619 with their first dose.
