Lithuania has confirmed 1,225 new coronavirus infections and eleven deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday morning.
Nine fatalities were either not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated.
On Monday, 193 coronavirus patients were admitted to Lithuania's hospitals. They are currently treating 1,162 people with Covid-19, including 121 who need intensive care.
A total of 7,187 people were vaccinated over Monday, including 2,856 who received their first shots.
In all, Lithuania has vaccinated 62.2 percent of its population with at least one shot, or 72.7 percent of adults.
The country's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 634.7 new cases per 100,000 people.
