The presidium of the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (Conservative) party has approved of the composition of the shadow cabinet offered by the party leader Andrius Kubilius, informs www.delfi.lt.
The presidium of the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (Conservative) party has approved of the composition of the shadow cabinet offered by the party leader Andrius Kubilius, informs www.delfi.lt.
The approved list will be later voted on by the party’s board.
According to Kubilius, the shadow cabinet created by the Homeland Union party is to create new political traditions in the country.
“The shadow government must not only attentively follow the work of the government in power and offer our own proposals, but also have certain working structures that form the provisions to the party’s programme. Apart from that, one of the most important tasks of such a government is to work for the people,” said the leader of the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats, Andrius Kubilius in the press release.

The Ministry of Energy – Dainius Kreivys
The Ministry of Finance – Mykolas Majauskas;
The Ministry of Culture – Mantas Adomėnas;
The Ministry of National Defence – Rasa Juknevičienė;
The Ministry of Social Security and Labour – Rimantas Jonas Dagys;
The Healthcare Ministry – Antanas Matulas;
The Ministry of Transportation – Jurgis Razma;
The Ministry of Education and Science – Valentinas Stundys;
The Ministry of Justice – Stasys Šedbaras;
