Three Lithuanian clothing producers have been awarded contracts, worth almost 14 million euros, to supply military uniforms to the country's armed forces, the Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.

The Defence Materiel Agency signed the three-year military clothing procurement contracts with Tuma, Audimas and Omniteksas in July and August.

The contracts cover the purchase of universal camouflage pattern uniforms for wet weather, as well as everyday jackets, new sports suits and underwear.

Another contract, worth over 3 million euros, for underwear is expected to be signed with Utenos Trikotažas shortly.
