Lithuania's Health Ministry has updated rules for travellers arriving in the country that will take effect from Monday, July 5.
Under the rules, arrivals from all countries must present a negative Covid-19 test, unless they can prove they have immunity: have been fully vaccinated (at least two weeks before the arrival) or recovered from the disease.
Those recovered from Covid-19 are considered immune for 180 days after the diagnosis.
As before, all travellers must fill in a questionnaire before coming to Lithuania.
Other measures depend on the country's classification by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
Arrivals from countries classed as green will have to present the negative test, but will not be required to self-isolate. Previously, no test was required.
Travellers from ‘yellow’ countries will have to present a negative test done before the trip and take a second one three to five days after arriving in Lithuania. Testing can be done at a mobile testing site after registering online (1808.lt) or by phone (1808).
People coming from countries classed as red or grey – or from outside the European Economic Area – will be additionally required to self-isolate for ten days, unless they can prove immunity.
