Lithuania has registered 1,088 new coronavirus infections and seven deaths from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, the country's statistics office said on Friday morning.
During the same period, 11,058 molecular (PCR) tests and 7,629 antigen tests were performed in the country.
Lithuania's 14-day coronavirus infection rate currently stands at 493.9 per 100,000 people, and the share of positive tests has been 6.4 percent over the past seven days.
Overall, 231,601 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Lithuania since the start of the pandemic.
Currently, 209,538 people are considered as having recovered from Covid-19 and 13,706 are active cases.
A total of 3,739 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania so far. The overall number of deaths directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus has reached 7,578.
Nearly 22,000 people in Lithuania were vaccinated on Thursday: 16,948 got the first shot and 4,861 were vaccinated the second time.
Overall, 546,300 people in Lithuania have been already vaccinated, 204,533 of them with two jabs.
