Church bells will ring every evening at 20:00 across Lithuania inviting people to join in prayer, according to the Lithuanian Bishops' Conference.
Families are invited to say the prayer of St. Joseph at 20:00 every night.
"It will be our bridge of prayer connecting us with the Lord and with one another," the Lithuanian Bishops' Conference said in a statement. "The bells of churches in Lithuania wil ring at that time."
The bishops suspended all public services at Roman Catholic churches in Lithuania after a nationwide quarantine took effect on Monday, but worshippers can participate in televised Masses.
Meanwhile, the Bishops’ Conference has also urged to delay all baptism and marriage services.
However, priests will still perform marriage ceremonies if only the newlyweds and two witnesses are in attendance.
Baptisms will also proceed immediately if the newborn is facing death. Priests also pledged to continue performing last rites.
