The meeting with Latvian President Egils Levit and Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid will focus on regional cooperation, with a common aim to strengthen integration with the EU through power synchronisation, as well as the Rail Baltica project.

The summit will address security challenges and the conclusions of the NATO Summit in London. The future of Europe, the EU’s multiannual financial perspective, Brexit, the Eastern Partnership, relations with the third countries and multilateral formats of regional cooperation will also be discussed.

During the meeting, the presidents of the Baltic states will also visit the Christmas market in Riga, where they will select a Christmas song from each country as part of a charity campaign.
