Lithuanians are less satisfied with their lives than Latvians or Estonians, according to the latest figures released by the EU statistical office Eurostat.
On a scale from 0 to 10, the average life satisfaction of Lithuanian residents aged 16 and over was 6.4 in 2018, compared with 6.7 in Latvia and 7 in Estonia.
In Lithuania, the level of satisfaction with personal relations was 7.8 and satisfaction with the financial situation was 5.2, compared with 7.8 and 5.4 in Latvia, and 7.9 and 5.9 in Estonia, respectively.
Across the EU, overall life satisfaction levels ranged from 8 in Austria to 5.4 in Bulgaria.
