The latest Vilmorus poll published by the daily Lietuvos Rytas on Saturday showed that 14.6 percent of respondents would vote for the ruling Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS), and 14.4 percent for the conservative Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats in the opposition.
The Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) moved from fourth to third position with 8.4 percent support, followed by the Labour Party in fourth place with 7.3 percent and the Order and Justice in fifth with 4.4 percent.
Further down the list are the Lithuanian Social Democratic Labor Party and the Liberal Movement with 3.2 percent each, the Center Party with 2.4 percent, the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania–Christian Families Alliance with 2.1 percent and the Freedom Party with 1.8 percent.
Some 22.5 percent of those polled said they were undecided and another 12.1 percent said they would not vote.
Vilmorus polled 1,021 people between September 6 and 14.
