Bodies of six drowned people were pulled out of water in Lithuania on Wednesday.
“It's the most tragic days of the summer as six drowned people were pulled out,” Laura Valauskienė, a spokeswoman for the Fire and Rescue Department, told BNS Lithuania.
Rescuers are still looking for a missing 16-year-old girl.
Since early May, fire fighters have pulled 20 drowned people out of water, including three minors, which is slightly fewer than during the same period last year when 28 people drowned.
Record-high temperatures have been recorded in Lithuania this week.
