Economist Gitanas Nausėda is set to face MP Ingrida Šimonytė in the presidential runoff in Lithuania, interim figures show.
Results from 1,415 out of 1,972 polling districts on Sunday night show Nausėda received 31.33 percent of votes in the first round of voting. Šimonytė comes in second with 25.13 percent, followed by Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis with 23.78 percent.
Runoff voting will take place on May 26.
Update: The final count gave Šimonytė the lead with 31.31 percent of the vote, followed by Nausėda with 30.94 percent and Skvernelis with 19.58 percent.
