Thursday is the deadline for Lithuanian political parties and electoral committees to collect voters' signatures if they want to run in the European Parliament elections.
The Central Electoral Commission requires that parties and committees present 10,000 signatures to be registered as candidates.
Voters can support the candidates online or by signing on official paper sheets.
In all, 18 political parties and electoral committees want to compete for 11 seats in the European Parliament.
The elections will take place on May 26 and will coincide with the run-off vote for Lithuanian presidency.
