Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has cancelled flights from Lithuania to six popular European destinations, Made in Vilnius reports.
Two flights have been cancelled from Vilnius and four from Kaunas.
Flights to Nice and Reykjavik have been cancelled from Vilnius, while flights to Nice, Bergen, Ålesund, and Stavanger have been cancelled from Kaunas.
The airline is experiencing engine problems across Europe and is now carrying out scheduled engine inspections, which led to the cancellation of several routes.
On Wednesday, Wizz Air confirmed it was only “temporarily changing” the timetable for some flights due to the engine checks. However, the airline did not specify when the flights would start operating as normal again.
